Where are you located?
The Saddle Up Saloon & Dancehall Chicago is located at 4440 West Ogden Ave on the corner of Route 59 and Ogden Avenue. We are just south of the Fox Valley Mall.

What is your dress code?
  • No excessively baggy or ripped up jeans
  • No jerseys
  • No flat-billed hats
  • No chains
  • No cut-offs
  • No work boots
  • No Hula-Hoops (seriously)

Is there a cover charge to enter?
Yes. Our cover charge is $5 a person (subject to change on Holidays). The only exceptions are on Wednesdays (Ladies in Free all night), Thursdays (in Free with College ID), and Sundays (Service Industry employees in Free with proof of employment). Additionally, we always honor Free cover for any Police, Fire, or Military individuals with a badge or ID.

How old do you have to be to enter Saddle Up Saloon?
Saddle Up Saloon is always 21-and-over to enter.

What forms of ID do you accept?
Any valid Government Issued Photo ID (Drivers Licenses, State IDs, and Passports). We do not accept tickets, College IDs, or FOID cards. Please note that if you have an out-of-state ID it is recommended to bring a second form of ID, such as a credit card. The management team of Saddle Up Saloon reserves the right to deny entry for IDs that do not meet our requirements.

What are your operating hours?

We are open to the public Wednesday through Sunday. Wednesday and Sunday we are open 6pm - 1am. Thursday we are open from 6pm-11pm.  Fridays and Saturdays we are open 6pm-2am. We also rent out our facility for private events on our off-hours. If you are interested in renting our facility for your private event, please click here to request more information from our Event Coordinator.

Do you have Live Music or a DJ?

We have a DJ that plays all our music. In the event that we decide to have live music, we will post any information about the shows on our website or facebook page.

What kind of music do you play?
  • Wednesdays & Thursdays - Country Music until 10/10:30pm and 'Roadhouse' Music (Top 40 and some Country) until close
  • Fridays & Saturdays - Country Music until 10:30/10:45pm and 'Roadhouse' Music (Top 40 and some Country) until close
  • Sundays - Country Music until 10pm and 100% Top 40 until close

When are Line Dance Lessons?
  • Wednesday - 7pm, 8pm, & 9pm - "Free & Easy" Beginner & Intermediate Lessons - Line Dances
  • Thursdays - 7pm, 8pm, & 9pm - "Next Step" Intermediate & Advanced Lessons - Line Dances
  • Fridays & Saturdays - 7pm, 8pm, & 9pm - "Free & Easy" Beginner & Intermediate Lessons - Line Dances
  • Sundays - 6:30, 7:30, 8:30 and 9:30 which includes one Couple's Dance Lesson

Do you have a mechanical bull?
No, unfortunately this location does not have a mechanical bull.

Do you have any drink specials?

Yes, we do! Please see our daily specials page for a complete list of all our drink specials (or click here).

Do you serve food?
Yes. Our Menu consists of general bar food that can please any appetite. Best part? Everything on the menu is $3!  Our kitchen is open everyday at 6pm and closes one hour before close. We also have a grill out at the end of the night on Fridays and Saturdays with Burgers and Hot Dogs for anyone who is hungry. To see our full menu please click here.

What should I do if I forgot to close my tab?

At the end of every night, we close out the tabs that have been left open for the exact amount of what was ordered on the tab. We are unable to add any gratuity after the tab is finalized for the evening.

Do you take reservations?

Yes, we do! If you are interested in reserving tables or either one of our private sections our Event Coordinator can set that up for you! Please see our Party Page for more information (or click here). If you aren't interested in our party package options, our tables are on a first-come first-served basis. Please also keep in mind that our tables fill up very fast and making a reservation is highly suggested.

Do you have a lost and found?

Yes, we do. If you think you lost your ID, Credit Card, or any other personal item at our facility, please give us a call at 630-585-8600 to see if it has been retrieved.

Do you have a patio?

Yes, we do! You are allowed to bring your drinks out on the patio and we also have sand buckets for anyone smoking.

Do you have a smoking area?

Yes, outside on our patio. We do not allow smoking or use of electronic cigarettes anywhere inside our facility.

What time do you get busy?
Every night is different (that's probably why it's so fun!) but typically our crowds come in prior to the dance lessons around 6:30pm. The 'late-night' crowd starts to come in around 10:30pm

Can I bring in desserts or decorations for my party?

Absolutely! We allow any type of dessert item to be brought in for your group. Please double-check prior to coming in if we have room for any refridgerated items. If you would like to bring in decorations, all we ask is that the items don't put holes in or pull paint off the walls. If you have any other questions about decorations you would like to bring in, feel free to give us a call!

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, we accept credit cards at our door register, any register behind a bar, and through our Servers and Shot Girls. Unfortunately, we do not accept credit cards at our Beer Tubs but we do have an ATM.

Do you have an ATM?

Yes. Our ATM is located just inside the main entrance, next to the patio doors, and across from the front bar. Please note that there is a small service fee for using our ATM.

It's my 21st birthday at midnight, can I get in?

2 things: 1. Happy Birthday! 2. Yes, you can. Please understand that we legally cannot let you in until midnight on the day of your birthday. Please have a photo ID ready as well as a 2nd form just in case!
